"CAN WE GET OUR PUPPY...............?"

From the time your puppy is about 3 weeks old, the “dirty” work reverts from their “doggy mommy” to their “human mommy” (yours truly).  As a common sense Breeder by choice, this is the part of the job we accept, however, often taken for granted by those who do not live a day to day life of a Breeder.   Our greatest reward is the day we see the smiling faces and love of the families’ in whose arms we place our puppies.

Making the decision to add a puppy to any family should never be taken lightly, and we want to believe that when you make the commitment to purchase one of our puppies through a deposit, you have done so with much thought and research on how this cute little fur ball will affect Your day to day life.  Cuddles and kisses, unconditional love, laughs and many years of joy is what we all want, and will likely get,….but those rewards do not come without sacrifices.   A pet, much like a child, is dependent on us for its daily care, nourishment and health.  Expense must be taken into consideration, as veterinarian fees are inevitable for the health and welfare of your pet.  As stated on other pages of our site, your choice of nourishment in the form of pet food also should not be taken lightly.  If it is convenient and cheap, it is not likely good for your dog.   Ever wonder the cause of tumors, cancers, seizures and many other devastating health problems come from?  In the long run, the cost of veterinarian treatment for such serious illnesses will far exceed the price of “good” food choices for your pet.

Upon your commitment to purchase one of our puppies, (unless previous arrangements are agreed to by both Breeder and Buyer at the time of commitment by deposit) it is our policy that you take your puppy home by 8-9 weeks, or within a week from the time you make that commitment if your puppy is older than 8 weeks.  Each day, we clean, feed, play and love your puppy until it goes home.  When a commitment is made, yet the time of availability is inconvenient for whatever reason, and it is asked of us to keep your puppy beyond the date of availability…..that time is a tremendous cost to us and a sacrifice to our family, the rest of our dogs and our program.   Therein, if it is not possible to pick up your puppy at the time it is ready to go home, we will charge a boarding fee of $10 a day until the day you receive your puppy.  Should this be an added burden to you financially, we will be happy to retain your deposit for a later litter and we will place your puppy with another family.    We would ask that you please understand and respect our policy and give some consideration to the toll that it takes on each breeder when you ask them to “hold and care” for your puppy until it is convenient for you.  You have our promise and commitment to make the transition of this wonderful new addition to your family as stress free as possible, and will always be available to you for questions and/or concerns or advice in adjusting to this blessed new family member.

God Bless You and Yours,

Tina and Rich Law
