RECENT REFERENCE

My wife and I adopted two F1B labradoodles from Tina - Nola (chocolate) and Dekker (parti).  We contacted numerous breeders before stumbling onto Tina on the internet.  We looked at a place in Fairfax that was charging $2,500 and a couple places in West Virginia charging $2,000.  However, it was not the cost that we liked about Tina.  We watched her videos and went to her farm 3 times and were impressed with her interactions with the puppies.  She genuinely cares about the well-being of her animals and it shows.  She adores them and is so passionate about what she does.  We looked at some photos on other websites and I swear that Tina's puppies are cuter...  :)

Since we have adopted our dogs, we have contacted her numerous times (bathroom breaks, crating, dog food, etc.) and she always promptly replies with excellent and thorough responses.  When you go to West Virginia, you see that her animals absolutely love her.  And, the "puppy house" is big and she keeps it very clean.  It is a lot of work to do that because there were a few litters available when we visited.

Being F1B was important to my wife and I because I have bad allergies.  I get up close and personal with my two puppies and have no problems.  I don't sneeze, my eyes don't water, my breathing is fine, etc.  The dogs have not shed a hair since we brought them into our house.

We have an appointment for our second dog at the vet this Thursday.   We already had an initial visit with our first dog a few weeks ago and she got a clean bill of health.  The vet said her weight was great and was healthy.

The first week we had our first dog I had to bring her out to use the bathroom 2 and sometimes 3 times a night.  She could only go about 3 hours without having to go to the bathroom (totally normal).  I think they say they can go an hour for every month they are old (ex. 6 months old can go 6 hours without having to use the bathroom).  So, it has been a lot of work but worth it because the puppies are so cute and personable.  Tina does a great job interacting with them and socializing with them.

I will say this, she cares so much that when you meet her it is almost an interview of you just as much as you are interviewing her.  I can't see her allowing one of her puppies to be adopted to someone she does not trust or believes will be a great parent.  We really liked that about her.  Her place is the farthest thing from a "puppy mill" you read about on the internet.  My wife and I would recommend her without reservation.
