Oh Tina, speaking with you last night brought a joy to my aching heart. Your kindness and understanding helped to ease my loss and thoughts of Chubby warm me even as I miss my Magnum. You are right, I wavered a bit, but see now that God's plan for me is loving and gracious. For the first time since Magnum's loss, I slept without nightmares last night.

I saw the new picture of Chubby and the new video as well. Your pups are all so beautiful, I feel honored to have one coming to me. It is true that you can fall in love through a picture. I am already attached to Chubby and am looking forward to holding him in my arms and welcoming him completely into my heart.

You will have a friend in me for life. I will figure out how to download pictures from my camera, so I too can sing the praises of your wonderful dogs and the loving way that you care for them and their new owners. God willing, I may be able to purchase another one after my divorce is finalized. The only thing better than one Standard Poodle is two!

Thank you again for your loving kindness on the phone and for reserving Chubby for me. I have pure joy all wrapped up in fur (hair) coming to me soon and I am looking forward to the happiness that we will bring to each other.

The past few weeks have been busier than ever for us at Lawpdoodle Kennel, however, all puppies were born strong and healthy, and mommies are doing wonderful, too. For that we are grateful and Praise God. Last year (2009), we experienced some disappointments, as many breeders often do, which was several planned breedings that did not happen for various reasons. Two of those girls are proud to be brand new Mommies, Keelie and Sasha. Have you ever heard the old saying, "Don't count your chickens before they hatch!"? Well, we didn't...... but they all hatched! We are prepared for this challenge, and hope that you will continue to have confidence in us by providing you with a well socialized and healthy new member for your family.

Recently, we received a call from one of our puppy families from Hershey and Winston's first litter in the Summer of '08. Sadly, we were told they lost their beloved Millie several months before. I was told at one point they had considered not ever adding a puppy to their family again due to the grief they experienced in losing their Millie. They have taken the much needed time to grieve and learn to live with her loss. Millie will never be forgotten. Tara, Millie's full sister, from Hershey's current litter, will be joining their family...not to replace Millie, but to fill the emptiness and bring them new unconditional love and joy in Millie's Memory. This will be Hershey's last litter as she is now retired to lay at my feet (and sometimes beside me in bed) for the remainder of her life. Here is the email I received from Marzella:

Tina, Good morning. We have thought of nothing but puppy since we talked yesterday. We have been considering for a while, but just weren't ready to commit yet. Now that we have talked to you and looked at pics again (I have to admit I have peeked at your website from time to time before and enjoyed all the little ones) we are like "What are we waiting for?!" The kids, and Jeff and myself, have time to deal with the past and want to move on. We are really interested in Tara because she is from the same parents of Millie. I am sure that all the others are just as sweet, but it is just a sentimental thing. When we decided we were going to look for a new a puppy, we looked all around but kept being led back to you. I really enjoyed the experience of meeting you and having you help us the first time. Thank you so much! Marzella

Thanks again for allowing us to stop on our way back from Georgia the other night. Keelie's litter is so darn cute, however, I am outnumbered by the boys. Can you please put us on your list for Winter and Connor's first litter late this year or early in 2011. Hopefully everything will work out and we can get a little girl to go with our two boys. We can't wait to have Bailey come live with us. We've been telling Murphy all about Bailey. Hopefully they will bond quickly and have many, many years of fun together. It will be exciting to have another puppy in the house. It's hard to believe that Murphy is now going to be the "big boy". He'll always be my baby. I have attached a pic of Bailey. How could you not melt just looking at him!

We have met many breeders in our search for puppies, however, we feel that you are most like us with your babies. You can clearly tell how loving and caring you are with each and everyone. Each one is a gift from Heaven. You can tell, without hesitation, which puppies have been truly taken care of and loved by their "human" parents. You nurture them with love and care until they go to their forever homes where they are loved and pampered always. Thanks for the great job that you do and the hours of worry, care and concern that you have for all of them. It is a difficult and demanding job but, I'm certain, the rewards are priceless.
